Brief Biography

Brendan O'Keeffe is Principal, Travel Demand Management with Brisbane City Council. He leads Council's Brisbane's road network operations, modernisation and ITS programs, as well as its community based travel behaviour program. Previous to joining Council in late 1999, Brendan was Principal Economist at consultants Maunsell McIntyre advising both public and private sector clients on rail, ports and road strategies, management and business development. Before this he was a consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton working in the areas of road management and ITS and worked as a graduate in Queensland Rail.
